Overview

This course has been developed for health and safety representatives who have previously completed a five-day introductory Health and Safety Representative Course approved by WorkSafe WA. The course has been designed to refresh participants’ knowledge of the key functions they are expected to perform as a health and safety representative. It applies to those who work in workplaces which operate under the Work Health and Safety Act (WA) 2020.

Under Section 72 of the Work Health and Safety Act and Work Health and Safety Regulation 21, health and safety representatives are entitled to time off work, with pay, to attend up to 1 day’s refresher training each year, commencing 12 months after they attended the initial training.

The duration of the workshop is 1 day.

What is the cost?

$363 per person (including GST)

This price is for our public workshops in Mt Lawley, Jandakot and Joondalup. Special rates can be negotiated for programs conducted by Training Services Australia on behalf of our clients, exclusively for their personnel.

Where are the training locations?

Our public workshops are delivered in Perth at our training venues in Mt Lawley, Jandakot and Joondalup. We also offer in-house training for clients internationally, throughout regional Australia, and in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Darwin and Canberra. Are there any course pre-requisites?
