BSB41415 Packaging Rules

Qualification Packaging Rules

To obtain the BSB41415 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety students must complete 10 units made up of:

  • 5 Core units
  • 3 Group A elective units
  • 2 elective units from the Group B elective units list or elsewhere

Units Selected for Delivery

Training Services Australia has selected the following units for delivery as part of its public program.

 

RESEARCH AND APPLY WHS LEGISLATION

BSBWHS402 – Assist with compliance with WHS laws (Core unit)

BSBRES401 – Analyse and present research information (Elective unit)

BSBWRT301 – Write simple documents (Imported elective unit)

 

WHS COMMUNICATION AND CONSULTATION

BSBWHS403 – Contribute to implementing and maintaining WHS consultation and participation processes (Core unit)

BSBLDR402 – Lead effective workplace relationships (Imported elective unit)

 

WHS MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND RISK MANAGEMENT

BSBWHS405 – Contribute to implementing and maintaining WHS management systems (Core unit)

BSBWHS404 – Contribute to WHS hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control (Core unit)

 

EMERGENCY PREVENTION AND INCIDENT RESPONSE

PUAWER002B – Ensure workplace emergency prevention procedures, systems and processes are implemented (Elective unit)

BSBWHS406 – Assist with responding to incidents (Core unit)

BSBCMM401 – Make a presentation* (Elective unit)

 

* Learners who have previously completed BSBCMM401 or BSBCMM401A as part of another qualification (e.g., TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment) are not required to attend the final two days of Module 4

Adjustments can be made to the above packaging structure to meet the needs of specific clients, although this may affect delivery timeframes and require redevelopment of training and assessment materials.
