TSA Mutual Recognition Policy

Training Services Australia recognises qualifications and statements of attainment that have been issued by other RTOs, which meet the requirements of the AQTF and the current AQF Implementation Handbook (as per Condition 7 of the AQTF Conditions of Registration for RTO's).

The general procedure followed by TSA with regard to Mutual Recognition is documented in the Mutual Recognition Process Flow chart.

Training Services Australia includes information on its mutual recognition obligations in information issued to clients. This includes TSA's Code of Practice, and Important Information documents issued to clients prior to attending training workshops.

All TSA consultants, facilitators and administration staff are made aware of the organisation's obligation to recognise AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by other RTOs.

All TSA consultants, facilitators and administration staff are expected to provide information on mutual recognition to clients who request it. If the staff member concerned does not have sufficient expertise or experience to provide the requested information, they are required to refer the matter to the TSA Principal or a consultant.

Qualifications and statements of attainment submitted to Training Services Australia for mutual recognition are checked for authenticity, completeness and compliance with the current AQF Implementation Handbook and the AQTF Standards.
